Little Bird, Big Itch

I really don’t know if this was an itch or just part of drying itself from the heavy dew this morning. I usually stick to still photography but thought a series of photos I captured earlier this week was perfect for making an animated gif. Amazing what you can do with a camera that is capable of 10 frames a second.

Photographing the hummingbirds in our yard is one of my favorite things to do every year. We have a good enough population of them that we go through about 2 quarts of food every week.
